Despite the humble beginnings, the District has seen significant growth in terms of organization and membership over the years. Currently, the District has 5094 members, 7 Churches, and 5 Companies.
The District operates in the Nyagatare Sector, and the population in different areas of the Sector has also grown over the years. In the Nyagatare Sector, there are a total of 54572 inhabitants, while the Rwempasha Sector has 27718 inhabitants and the Karangazi Sector has 57444 inhabitants. The total population of all three sectors is 139834 inhabitants. The District’s growth and organization are a testament to the hard work and dedication of its pastors, leaders, and members, who have worked in accordance with the teachings of the Bible and the principles of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, to bring the light of the gospel to the people of Nyagatare District. The number of believers is relatively small compared to the population of the sectors, the district members constitute about 3.6% of the total population.
